People naturally have a curious mind and this project wants to delve into that concept within the sensory experience. BooDoo dolls is an entryway back into the connection between people's sense of touch and their curiosity.

Exploration

BooDoo Dolls uses a variety of different fabrics and fibers to encourage users to want to experience and explore.  With a twist on the human anatomy, the removable limbs and plush organs allow users to build their own doll while satisfying their sense of touch .

Process:

Using a simple loom (made with dowels, birch strips, and screws) I weaved fabric with a variety of textured yarn to create the limbs and bodies of the dolls. The organs were then made with different Poly-Blend fabrics.
